Last week I got to meet the cast, director and writer of the play Unconditional. This is a video I shot recently showing how Leya Marini create beautiful bespoke wedding dresses. We follow Kim’s story from her from her first meeting with head designer Edith Szogradi through design sketches , fabrics choices and all the other details that make this magical experience. It’s just incredible to see what goes into making a gown like this, The attention to detail and even to the brides personality are all part of the final creation.
I just loved making this video it was such fun and at the end we did a photo shoot with Kim in her dress. Kim had her hair done by make up artist Ruth O Rourke and Hair by Edwin Keville.
I was touched when Edith wrote about making the video
” Adrian perfectly captured the style I was looking for, no matter what I asked for he made it happen. He’s very creative and always great to work with. Thank you Adrian Heffernan for the lovely video you made for us! “
I am currently collaborating with Smock Alley Theatre in Dublin to photograph some of the wonderfully diverse events that they have on going. This week I had the opportunity to cover the launch of the Women’s Gaelic Players Association. This new association has been set up by players to and is committed to working for an equal playing field between male and female players.
It was a wonderful event to cover with some very passionate speakers. The venue was the Banquet hall in Smock alley and it is a fantastic space for an event like this and also a pleasure to shoot in.
Hi there, This another little post about a Time-lapse I did some time back. It was shot from Bray head and I post-processed it to have a strong graphic novel look. It was used on Irish Tv ( Wicklow County matters ) , I created the sound track on Music maker Jam .
I think shooting Time-lapse is a little like fishing, but nothing gets hurt and you don’t get dinner. You go out there set up and hope to catch something – There is a lot of planning and patience involved and sometimes just when you think it’s all been for nothing you are handed a surprising gem.
