About Me

Well if you’re here you probably want to know a little more about me. I am a Wicklow based photographer and I’ve been doing it for quite some time now. I am a graduate of Griffith College Dublin with a Diploma in Photographic Media (distinction and highest academic achiever) I was shortlisted for Oxygen News Photographer of the year 2008 and was one of the Hot Press / HTC Photojournalist Competition finalists in 2012. I specialise in portraiture both environmental and studio. My images have been published nationally and internationally and even landed on the pages of a few glossy magazines but more, importantly they have allowed me to capture some incredible shared moments and introduced me to some wonderful people.

Photography

Adrian is a Graduate of Griffith College Dublin with a Higher National Diploma in Photographic Media. His work had been published in many national papers and magazines including the Irish Daily Mail, You Magazine, Magpie Magazine, Tv Week, The Ticket and RTE.ie. He has photographed some of Irelands best-known faces including Amy Huberman, Talia Heffernan, Amber Jean Rowan and Pat Divilly. His images have featured advertisements for in Holland and Barrett, Beautiful You, Systemlink and many more.

Video

Adrian is a passionate videographer who has shot for Irish TV ( Wicklow County Matters ) He has created commercial videos for Magpie Magazine, Beautiful You, The Ecology Center, Smock Alley and Leya Marini. In his personal work, he has shot the artist Barry Jazz Finnigan creating a portrait of Robin Williams for suicide awareness, Adrian is also involved in many short independent films as both cameraman and Director of photography.

Teaching

Adrian teaches a photography course at Bray Institute of Further Education ( BIFE ) Covering everything from exposure, aperture, shutter, ISO, composition, lighting … The class introduces students to the work of photographers who have shaped the medium. We also look at the origins of photography, The early processes the daguerreotype, wet plate collodion to Eastman’s flexible film and on to the digital age of Jpeg and RAW capture. The class is practical, fun and students will learn skills through group exercises.
